Semper is a small, independent group of playwrights and directors based mainly around the English Midlands, a spin-off of the Momentum young playwrights’ project in Nottingham. Our previous experience includes Broken Holmes (2009) and Cows – The Musical (2001) at the Edinburgh Fringe, Experiment (2009) at the Accidental Festival in London’s Roundhouse theatre an Gods (2007) and Creosote (2004)at the Leicester Comedy Festivals for those years.
Other projects inlude Semper Sumo (2007), a collection of short plays and exerts as part of Leicester Ladyfest 2007 and the organisation behind ongoing Semper Station, a a local writers competition and showcase in Sutton Coldfield, which premiered in October 2009
