Semper Station 3 – Energy!
December 2, 2009
I forgot to post this! Can’t believe it!
Semper Station presents:
Energy
As the festive season approaches and then vanishes you might start to feel that your energy has been drained. That the year ahead is lacking a little… sparkle? Well Semper Station returns in the New Year to reinvigorate you!
To do this we need (preferably Midlands-based) writers to submit short scripts that will be performed script in hand on Tuesday January 19th 2010 at the Station Pub, Sutton Coldfield.
Scripts should:
- Be no longer than ten minutes long
- Be suitable to perform in a confined area
- Use no more than 3 actors
- Be linked to the nights theme – ‘Energy’
Please include your postcode in the e-mail. Entries from outside of the Midlands will be considered but preference will be given to writers living in the area.
The closing date for entries is midnight on 10th January 2010
Details for actors will follow later! Semper needs actors!
See www.sempergroup.wordpress.com for more details!
All entries should be sent to semperinfo@googlemail.com

Winners Announced! Semper Station II: Anticipation
November 16, 2009
Hello!
It gives me great pleasure to reveal the five plays that will be performed at Semper Station II – Anticipation on the 24th November 2009. In alphabetical order:
The Yankees vs The All-Stars - Angella Gallagher
Family Lies - William Gallagher
God, Science and Shangri-La - Philip Hurst
The Gloaming - David Lewis
Sorry - Louise Stokes
The plays are as varied as their names suggest, with the authors taking the theme of adaptation and applying it to situations as diverse as baseball, cancer and divine badgers.
I have high hopes for the evening, and more details (including a flyer) will be winging its way up here over the coming weeks. I’ll just mention here that the night is FREE to enter.
For now, please direct any questions (including actors, we could really do with actors) to semperinfo@gmail.com.

Muchos kudos to all of our new friends at these websites, and I hope to see you on the night!
